Meet Your Maker review

Over time, more and more tool games appear. And now it’s worth talking about Meet Your Maker, where you can rate other people’s work or place a local editor yourself.

About the game

If we talk about the plot or history, then as such, it simply does not exist. There is more explanation as to why they are doing this. The planet is on the verge of death, everything around has turned into a wasteland, and the rest of the people are fighting for survival. And at the heart of this is the extraction of the most important resource – intact genetic material called genemat. The legend says that with its help you can create a medicine, and thereby save the planet and life on it. The chimera simply says that this is how it should be done and the hero goes on a mission without asking too many questions.

The genmat is hidden in the outposts, but first you need to approach the table in the local headquarters and choose which of the outposts will be better. But in any case, the task remains the same, you just need to enter the building, find the resource and hide. And if you get to the starting point or the desert, you can complete the task and receive rewards. After that, you should go to the headquarters for a new task.

But there are also difficulties during the game, namely the security of outposts. And this is not only armed guards, but also traps inside and on the outskirts. They can be on the walls and ceiling, on the floor, so danger is everywhere.

In fact, the exploration of the outpost is more like the gameplay in a classic shooter, as you need to move along the corridors and check everything in order not to fall into a trap and die.

Well, for example, the player has a resource, but you need to return. And the difficulty is that all traps are restored, and new ones appear. So if earlier the corridor was safe and studied, now it can store more danger in itself. But there are no time limits, so you can take your time to explore everything.

This idea is quite interesting, and the tests are fun to pass. And initially it is better to take easy outposts, over time complicating the process of passing.

But over time, everything becomes boring, since there is not much variety in the game. Often on the first day you can get everything from the game, besides, the locations practically do not differ from each other, and there are not very many traps.

Even in terms of weapons and equipment, there is not much variety, which also quickly gets boring.
